This morning, Gucci’s Creative Director Sabato De Sarno unveiled his inaugural cruise show in London. “I owe a lot to this city; it has welcomed and listened to me. The same holds true for Gucci, whose founder drew inspiration from his time here,” reads Gucci’s press release.
The Gucci Cruise 2025 show took place at the Tate Modern, with celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Salma Hayek, Dua Lipa, and Paul Mescal in the front row. A fusion of British and Italian fashion was on display, featuring a resurgence of pussycat bows, pastel flowy organza gowns, and horsebit details adorning accessories. Masculine and feminine styles intertwined, with oversized coats juxtaposed against delicate flower embroideries. The runway also showcased relaxed patchwork denim jeans paired with ballerinas, as well as short shorts layered with organza blouses and overcoats.
