Prada FW26 Menswear Proves the Past Is Still Very Cool

Prada has never been interested in doing things the obvious way, and its Fall/Winter 2026 Menswear show at Milan Fashion Week was no exception. This season, the brand looked back in time, pulled out a few good ideas, and styled them for now.

Called Before and Next, the collection by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons played with the idea that fashion doesn’t need to forget its past to move forward. Instead, it can borrow, remix, and keep things interesting.

What Walked the Runway

The silhouettes were long, clean, and quietly confident. Coats buttoned all the way up (posture check), trenches came with unexpected utility capes, and quilted jackets showed up in soft, rumpled leather that looked lived-in. Prints added personality, mixing references from antiquity and the Renaissance without feeling heavy or historical. Ancient motifs, but worn like they belong in 2026.

The Mood

Prada FW26 menswear was calm, considered, and refreshingly wearable. The show took place inside the Deposito at Fondazione Prada, transformed into a space that felt both intimate and open, much like the collection itself. Prada’s Fall/Winter 2026 Menswear Collection is a reminder that some ideas age well. The trick is knowing how to wear them now.
