As the world struggles to address the pressing issues of representation, exoticism and toxic generalisation; focusing on personal strengths to overcome visible vulnerabilities can be equated to discovering magic in a dark room. The world appears differently to each one of us as we see it through different lenses of experiences, emotions and spectrum of life.

Being comfortable in one’s own skin is the new fashion sentiment. “Relative reality” was conceptualised on the bases of this very sentiment of finding the axis of stability and a safe space in an existential quicksand of questions that deal with personal identity and expression in a heightened unnatural and unsettling chromatic atmosphere.

The exaggerated postures and silhouette shapes that symbolise stability and feelings are an example of how a hyperbole can be comforting in an altered reality.
