The Aesthetics of Joy: Holi and Carnival is a culmination of her recent visit to Brazil. Invited by the Brazilian Embassy to capture the essence of the Carnaval do Brasil, Natasha’s visual perspective of the carnival was part of a larger cultural dialogue between India and Brazil celebrating 70 years of being sister nations.

“My focus from the beginning was about celebrating the freedom women in the country have in public spaces. Being an Indian woman myself, it was hard for me to not draw parallels between my country and Brazil.”
