Memes are reflective of the times we live in and a new form of self expression. “Sometimes art can just be fun and happy without trying to change the world,” says NIFT Delhi graduate Srishti Guptaroy. She has taken to memes to highlight first world problems faced by millennials. From waiting for the Uber, to figuring out what form 16A is and judging peoples fashion choices – she’s covered them all. “I wanted to create a playful and relatable series that strikes a cord with the reader,” says Srishti. “Memes that are usually associated with lowbrow imagery gets a high fashion makeover in my series while retaining the humour.”
