Dive into Whimsy: Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2025

It’s a beautiful moment when fashion and theatre collide—and the Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2025 presentation was exactly that. Hosted at the iconic Piscine Molitor in Paris, Louboutin teamed up with visionary artist David LaChapelle and choreographer Bianca Li to deliver a jaw-dropping spectacle featuring none other than the French Olympic swim team. The twist? They performed in heels. Who would’ve guessed?

Paying homage to the water ballets of 1950s Hollywood, the team executed a mesmerising synchronised performance, all while donning Louboutin’s new Miss Z pumps. The pool was transformed into a kaleidoscopic dreamscape with LaChapelle’s signature cinematic projections, while fountains, slides, and a towering pair of metallic Miss Z pumps set the stage for fashion’s most theatrical display yet.

But it didn’t stop there. The pièce de résistance? The French swim team slid down the Miss Z pump slide—yes, while wearing the heels—performing synchronized moves with effortless flair. In the grand finale, LaChapelle himself dove into the pool, closely followed by Louboutin, who made his grand entrance via the towering slide, proving that fashion can be both playful and utterly enchanting.

The new Miss Z collection, a modern reinterpretation of Louboutin’s classics (think Pigalle and Kate), will be available in January 2025. Featuring a sleek, elongated toe and an illusion of extra height, these heels are destined to be the season’s must-have.

As if the show itself wasn’t dazzling enough, the guest list was equally star-studded, including Amy Jackson, Daphne Guinness, Cole Sprouse, and fashion influencers Mitali Sagar and Summiyya Patni.

Paris Fashion Week has seen its fair share of drama, but nothing quite like the whimsical, water-soaked wonderland of Christian Louboutin’s latest creation.
