ITRH took the stage at Dubai Fashion Week, and we’re here for it! Mohit Rai and Ridhi Bansal, the duo behind ITRH, unveiled their ‘Natak’ collection on Day 2, drawing inspiration from the vibrancy of Indian theatre. The collection delivered pure glam-drama, with a colour palette that spans fiery oranges and mellow yellows to soft lilacs and shimmering metallics—nothing short of Dubai Bling!
The blend of Indian silhouettes—think elegant saris, flowing kaftans, and intricately embroidered cholis—with Western styles like gowns, dresses, and suits results in a stunning array of pieces adorned with oversized bows (a trend that’s clearly here to stay). Expect to see crystal-encrusted creations, gowns with Valentino-esque feathers, and dramatic chunnis. “Bling and drama are at the core of our brand’s DNA. ‘Natak’ means drama, and this collection takes cues from the regional performances we grew up with—the stage shows, theatrical makeup, and larger-than-life costumes,” explain Ridhi Bansal and Mohit Rai.
From ombré-studded embellishments to bold variations in silhouettes—voluminous to structured—the ‘Natak’ collection is a homage to Indian theatre, capturing opulence and drama in every stitch.
