Just back from one of my favorite escapes in India—Goa! This time, I checked into The Westin Goa in Anjuna, and let’s just say… they know how to pamper. From the moment I walked in, it was all about sun-drenched serenity, indulgent comfort, and that unmistakable Goan charm. Think airy, light-filled rooms designed for lazy mornings, cocktails by the pool that taste like vacation, and a spa that melts away every ounce of stress.
There’s just something about hotels in Goa—they hit different. It’s the perfect blend of fun and luxury, where barefoot elegance meets impeccable hospitality. Stay tuned for our honest review—because this one’s worth bookmarking.

Check in: 10/10
Now, this is how you make an entrance. The Westin Goa knows how to set the tone—cocktails at check-in? Yes, please. As soon as I walked in, I was handed a tequila-based welcome drink, the perfect start to a stay that promised indulgence. The lobby, with its soaring ceilings and open, airy design, was buzzing with energy—helped, no doubt, by the vibrant Indian wedding unfolding around us. Laughter, music, a hint of celebration in the air—it was impossible not to get swept up in the moment.
Keys in hand, check-in was seamless—swift, efficient, and effortless. Just how we like it.

Rooms: 10/10
The suite delivered on every front—spacious, sun-drenched, and designed for effortless comfort. The living room felt airy and inviting, complete with a powder room for added convenience. Sliding doors opened up to the bedroom, creating a seamless flow between spaces. The only thing missing? Powered curtains to match the luxe vibe.
What truly stood out was the thoughtfully designed bathroom-meets-closet—spacious enough for two people to get ready at the same time without any hassle. Functional yet indulgent, it made mornings so much easier.

Dining: 10/10
With three restaurants and a coffee shop—T&A, The Market, Drift, and Anjuna Coffee & Co.—The Westin Goa takes its food seriously. The day we arrived, we dove straight into Indian comfort food via room service (because who doesn’t love dining in a robe?). The daal makhani was a standout—rich, creamy, and utterly indulgent (chef’s kiss).
But this trip was all about stepping out of my culinary comfort zone—very Anthony Bourdain-esque, if I may say so. A soul-warming hot pot at T&A, a classic Goan thali at The Market, and a smoky barbecue feast at Drift made for an unforgettable lineup. Highlights included king prawns, fresh-caught fish, and my unexpected favorite—the Shoot Jolokia Wings. Smoked, roasted, and packing serious heat with Naga chili from Northeast India, these wings are not for the faint-hearted. If you love spice, prepare to be obsessed.

Experiences: 9/10
The spa was exactly what the doctor ordered—heated spa beds, skilled therapists (shoutout to Mery and Kavi), and a level of indulgence that felt almost meditative. From the welcome drink to the post-spa detox shot and a blissful session in the steam room, I could literally feel the exhaustion melt away.
Next up: an in-room cocktail experience that felt delightfully decadent. Their resident mixologist, Prince, rolled up with a trolley of spirits and fresh mixers, crafting cocktails right in our suite. While it wasn’t top-shelf liquor, the Cosmopolitan and Negroni were mixed to perfection—smooth, balanced, and dangerously sippable.
With a gym and pool also on offer, the only thing that fell a little short was the pool experience. It’s on the smaller side and feels somewhat tucked away—not exactly the sun-soaked oasis you’d hope for. Still, everything else more than made up for it.

Check out: 10/10
A seamless 7 AM check-out, with the hotel car arriving right on time and a packed breakfast thoughtfully provided by the team—talk about leaving in style.

Conclusion:
The Westin Goa is a true gem in North Goa. With its exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine warmth, this is a place where guests feel not just comfortable but truly cared for. Without a doubt, it’s a hotel I’d happily return to.
