Hyderabad hosted a different kind of unveiling this week. Zoya, the Tata Group’s luxury jewellery brand, unveiled Whispers from the Valley . Its a Kashmir-inspired ode to shifting seasons, with Sonam Kapoor stepping in as the face of the collection.
The collection is rooted in Kashmir, a place often described as India’s crown jewel, and here, its changing seasons become the language of design. The motifs are familiar yet transformed: the curls of the Chinar leaf, frost over green apples, tulips blooming against snow. It’s nature retold in gold and stones, sometimes delicate, sometimes dramatic.

There are the Autumn Glow Earrings: a three-dimensional Chinar crafted in yellow and orange sapphires, diamonds glinting like early morning dew. The Spring Song Choker pulls its form from green apples touched with frost, while Scarlett Symphony reimagines tulip gardens in rubies, pearls, and softly glowing gold. The Seasoned Grace Necklace, stitched together with more than 900 diamonds and sapphires, takes the Chinar into maximalist territory, layering its curves into a fluid sculpture.
The palette moves like the valley itself. Pastel yet luminous, with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and South Sea pearls in constant conversation. The pieces carry the rhythm of Kashmir’s seasons, shifting, unfurling, alive.

Shot on location in Srinagar, the campaign leans into this spirit of renewal. Along with Sonam Kapoor embodying the woman at the heart of the story. “Every design sparks an emotion from within,” she says. “It makes you feel alive, ready to embrace your own creative journey.”
For Zoya, that idea, the creator within every woman — is the quiet thread running through Whispers from the Valley.
