Timex and MM6 Maison Margiela are back at it again. Primarily because apparently one collab wasn’t enough to settle whatever artistic itch they share. For FW25, the two brands are returning to the Timex T80, the digital watch your nostalgic core remembers, and giving it what can only be described as a Margiela-grade identity shift.
It’s digital heritage, rerouted through MM6’s design. This season, that design arrives in full gold-tone.

The drop includes two pieces: the T80 Gift Set and the T80 Ring Watch. Both are familiar shapes, both are now dipped in that classic Margiela “don’t overthink it, but also please do” energy. The gold isn’t loud or flashy; it’s that intentional, slightly ironic kind of shine.
The T80 Gift Set keeps the watch recognizably T80—34mm stainless-steel case, polished-and-brushed bracelet, chronograph, daily alarm, and the beloved INDIGLO. The twist is in the tiny details: a mirrored mask under the mineral lens and a lineup of digits from 0 to 23, with the Maison’s signature “6” getting its quiet halo.

Then there’s the T80 Ring Watch, which is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a digital watch you wear on your finger. It looks like an accessory Margiela would design for someone who hates checking the time but loves the idea of time as a concept. It’s minimal, sculptural, and weirdly charming. Basically MM6 in a nutshell.
The MM6 Maison Margiela x Timex FW25 collection drops November 17th on both brands’ webstores and select retailers. Just in time for you to pretend you’ve been into conceptual timekeeping all along.
