Art in the time of corona: 21 year old Mumbai based photographer, Vriddhi Sawlani’s photo series documents her take on stillness during the coronavirus lockdown.
‘We are all learning to stop a little. To rest a little.
(Un)rest is a series of de-stressing visuals of the basic simplicities of life which might induce a feeling of calm in the middle of the chaos we’ve all been in. Complete opposite of the clutter and confusion we have all seen around.
Hence, soothing a part of your brain that’s constantly trying to make order.
These photographs have one or more things we’ve all been doing, even if you’re not doing anything because there’s a lot of disarray.
I really hope the visuals helps you calm down amidst this chaos.’ – Vriddhi Sawlani
