The show that accidentally healed half the internet’s love lives is back. Nobody Wants This Season 2, is going to be messier, funnier, and even more self-aware. After racking up 26.2 million views in its first two weeks and sitting in Netflix’s global top 10 for six, it’s no surprise the Kristen Bell–Adam Brody rom-com was renewed almost immediately.
Season 1 ended with Rabbi Noah (Brody) showing up at Joanne’s (Bell) car, post-breakup, mid-tears — to admit she was right: “I can’t have both.” Cue the kiss heard around the world. Now, the agnostic podcaster and her rabbi boyfriend are trying to merge two very different worlds, families, and belief systems, without losing their sense of humour (or each other).
Leighton Meester Joins the Chaos
Season 2 gets a dose of chaos courtesy of Leighton Meester, a.k.a. Blair Waldorf and Adam Brody’s real-life wife. She’s back as Abby, a mummy influencer and Joanne’s old nemesis.
Also joining this season: Seth Rogen as Rabbi Neil, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, Arian Moayed, and Kate Berlant. With fan favourites Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn all returning.
Can Nobody Wants This Heal Us Twice?
Season 1 gave us the “hand me your ice cream” moment. And now, Season 2 is asking the only question that matters: Can Joanne and Noah actually make it? In true Erin Foster fashion, the new season opens with Morgan (Justine Lupe) voicing what we’re all thinking, setting the stage for ten episodes of sharp dialogue, spiritual chaos, and L.A. sunshine.
All ten episodes of Nobody Wants This Season 2 drop on Netflix, October 23, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. IST.
Gird your loins. The rom-com revival isn’t over yet.
