+ Van Vaibhav (Splendour of the forest)
+ No Polarity
The year is 2020 and while mankind stays indoors because of the coronavirus lockdown that has been imposed, nature thrives and earth detoxes. Exploring this phenomenon, Good Earth brings to you Lockdown Dreamscapes, a limited edition art series inspired by nature’s imagined takeover of the world. Comprising of four digital artworks titled Van Vaibhav, No Polarity, Submerges Memories and Never Stop Looking Up, each of them references an iconic Delhi monument. The amalgamation of nature and historical landscapes transports you to a utopian world where man and nature live in harmony.
Priced at INR 6500 each, the art prints are available for sale on Good Earth’s website and all sale proceeds will go to Wildlife Trust of India — a leading Indian nature conservation organisation that is committed to protect and support India’s Van Rakshaks (our frontline forest staff). According to the International Ranger Federation, India loses more forest rangers each year than any other country in the world.
“Good Earth believes in the philosophy of Van Vaibhav (forest splendour), we all are a part of this splendour and need to stay connected with it or else we are lost. During the recent lockdown we all witnessed this ‘return of nature’ that manifested as result of the lack of human interference. The Lockdown Dreamscapes series is our interpretation of this natural revival – about merging nature with its wondrous creatures including human beings and hoping for mankind to live with heightened awareness and positivity,” says Good Earth’s Founder and Creative Director, Anita Lal. “Our partner for this initiative, Wildlife Trust of India, shares the same vision and we are proud to associate with them for the cause of our earth warriors, whose contribution to conservation of our forests and wildlife is invaluable.”
